Job Description

The IT Admin at Midjac oversees the full IT infrastructure — from network administration and server management to security and team leadership. The role demands a proactive, security-first approach to ensure uninterrupted operations and compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the IT department and a team of two staff members to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee network administration: configure, maintain, and monitor company networks to prevent downtime.
• Administer company servers and infrastructure; maintain optimal uptime and reliability.
• Implement firewall configuration, access controls, and vulnerability assessments to protect data.
• Manage IT asset lifecycle — procurement, inventory tracking, and disposal — and enforce IT policies.
• Ensure backup systems and disaster recovery plans are in place and regularly tested.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment maintenance, upgrades, and support.
